GLASS LINED REACTOR MADE BY

Glass-lined vessels play a role of primary importance in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
For example, where problems involving corrosion or the purity requirements of a product are decisive, glass-lined equipment is often the only, or at any rate the most economical solution. The application of a coating of glass to a base or support of steel in fact gives rise to a product with exceptional properties: as strong as steel and as
inert chemically as glass. The totally integrated fabrication, machining and glass lining facilities ensure timely delivery of quality products. For larger reactors, we provide
systems that are a combination of the larger reactor shipped loose with the rest of the system provided as a module.

This reactor range is well known for a while and includes types of reactor designs AE, CE.Design data, general dimensions of the vessels and nozzle layout are standardized.

These can be provided with jacket or half-coil and a wide selection of agitation solutions. As an option, we are able to propose pre-insulated reactors for time and trouble saving on site.

Moreover, to match your requirements, we extended the product range with capacities from 6300 litres up to 16000 litres, and specific pressure and temperature ratings with Propeller as well as in Anchor agitator type.

We have emerged as a leader in achieving customer satisfaction by delivering quality products, with a fervent desire to convert every customer relationship into a prospective partnership.

The state-of-the-art CAD facilities and experienced engineers not only automate the day-to-day engineering drawing requirements, but also innovate and improve the
versatility of the product in addition to standard equipment.

We design and manufacture equipment for specific customer applications or process performance improvement.

Every component is tested to confirm adherence to stringent internal quality standards.

All equipment is subjected to comprehensive inspection before dispatch.
Our Engineered Systems customers are from many different industries including pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, petrochemical, biopharmaceutical, nutraceutical, fats and oils, food, waxes, resins, etc.

We provide an equal amount of stainless steel systems from industrial systems to sanitary pharmaceutical systems.

We also provide systems constructed of glass lined stainless steel for cryogenic applications, PTFE-lined carbon steel, and plastics.

Vessels are spark tested, glass-mapped, and detailed reports are created and sent to the customer with every vessel we sell. We specialize in supplying glass lined processing equipment.

The primary difference between Southern Glass lined Equipment, Inc. and most used equipment dealers is attention to detail and level of expertise in the glass lined chemical processing equipment industry.

Selection of Glass

Performance and life of glass lined equipment depend mainly on the quality and characteristics of glass. We have obtained technology of Versa Glass from Hakko Sangyo Company Limited, Japan.

Glass used in glass lined equipment contains predominantly Borosilicate, with other inorganic constituents, to give desired chemical and physical properties. Quality of Versa Glass conforms to parameters specified in Japanese Industrial Standards.

Corrosion rate varies with temperature and concentration of chemicals. At higher temperatures, the corrosion rate increases. For a specified concentration, superior quality glass has a lower corrosion rate at a given temperature, or has a higher operating temperature for a given corrosion rate. Versa Glass is comparable with the best glass available in the international market.

Optional Features of Nile Glass Line Reactors

1. Standard type of Jacket:
This type is commonly used for both heating and cooling process. Multiple nozzles can be used for Inlet of cooling medium to avail required velocity of fllow.Baffle plates / Agitating nozzle providing to avoid corrosion due to impingement of steam/heating/cooling fluids.
2. Limpet type of Jacket:
Used when thermic fluid is used for heating.Genarally adopted where temperature is more than 1500C and cooling by water or brine is not required. Also to minimize wastage of medium.
3. Multiple types of Jackets:
Selected when volumes of batches are different. Material of construction and welding process adopted will be chosen depending on the maximum and minimum temperature of heating/cooling medium selected for the process.
